Shelley Gray, M.Ed.
Shelley Gray is a licensed Elementary Education teacher who holds a Masters in Education for Reading Leadership from the University of Western Colorado with endorsements for Special Education and Reading Specialist.
Motivated by her own dyslexic son, Shelley Gray returned to teaching in 2008 with the goal of supporting dyslexic kids in school. Over the next 6 years, Shelley worked in a public Montessori school as the Special Education Teacher and RtI coordinator and simultaneously obtained her Masters degree. In 2014, Shelley and her family moved to Bend, Oregon.
Once in Bend, Shelley worked at a private learning center for a year and a half before starting her own private practice, Great Minds, in 2016.
As a lifelong learner herself, Shelley's continuous education, personal experience, and field research, prepare her to meet the individual needs of her students. Her unique teaching style and ability to connect with children, make learning feel fun and easy allowing students to feel successful and start building confidence in their skills right away.
